Uh, I said this post would be about CSE I feel like I'm not quite ready to elaborate on that yet so instead I'm going to talk about ... :)
The narrator called the ant colony a super organism, basically because the individual ants work in unison so much so that the ant colony itself can be considered a living organism. Are there any isomorphisms to the ant/ant colony relationships that you can think of?

Hello!
I decided to make a new (public) blog with a different purpose in mind. It might be a small understatement to say that I'm introspective, and I realize more and more that right now my world exists almost entirely in my mind with little being projected back to you. So, I thought it would be interesting to use this blog to share the things that I see, hear, and read that shape the way that I think and view the world.
I'll start off with a popular poem by Saul Williams. This video is him performing a shortened version at Def Poetry Jam, but it still retains the heart of the message. Just google if you want to find the full version.
The beauty of written language and any form of creative art is it's ability to carry ideas and emotions so beautifully. In an interview he talked about how he studied himself to use as material for his work. He explained that when two people each dig a well in their own back yard, they get water from their own backyard. But when they dig deep enough, they get the same water since it all comes from the same source. In the same way, he explained that when he expressed himself he was able to create material that others could relate to since as humans we all originate from a singularity and are at the core all the same. I think an even more profound idea that he expresses in Coded Language is that as a body, humanity is moving in a (pre)defined direction- in this case, "to uplift the consciousness of the fucking world". Since the beginning of time humans always had a tendency to assume that our existence has a recognizable purpose in this Universe and science constantly proves this assumption wrong. I believe that we do have a defined "purpose". But I also believe that we exist in a system that's far more complicated than we can ever imagine. But I think I'll stop right here so that I don't get too far ahead of myself...
Stay tuned! Next time, I'll share about one of my favorite subjects...Computer Science!!
